About Endometriosis
Endometriosis is a condition in which tissue similar to the lining of the uterus grows outside the uterus. It can be associated with pelvic pain, painful periods and other symptoms.
How we approach care
At Ānshén, your appointment begins with time to discuss your health history, current concerns and goals. A Chinese medicine assessment considers your broader wellbeing and helps guide a treatment plan tailored to you.
Acupuncture can be discussed as a complementary option alongside appropriate healthcare. We will talk through your circumstances, answer your questions and review your care with you.
Working with your healthcare team
Assessment and treatment with a GP or gynaecologist are important. Acupuncture does not remove endometriosis or replace medical care.
